It’s amazing that there are so many Devon Christian authors and we were pleased to welcome several of them to CRE South West in February 2022 to promote their books at our stand. Over the course of the two day exhibition we had five book signings with each author taking a two-hour slot.

It was wonderful to celebrate the work of so many local authors in Devon and they certainly created a buzz at our stand.
Richard Holloway, who is based in North Devon is the writer behind the literary genius of Coco the Christian parrot. In the foreword to the book, the Bishop of Crediton, Jackie Searle, writes: “The mix of humour, challenge, biblical text and photography, along with the views of our perceptive parrot, make this a unique reflection on our 21st-century lives.” Coco’s fundraising efforts have been well documented in the media and the blog has been read by people in over 40 countries.
Peter and Jill du Feu from Torquay were featured in the Exeter Lifelines, sharing how they were able to restore their marriage despite major challenges. In this candid biography you will discover the key to opening the door to healing in a relationship.
Gotta Die to Live captures the extraordinary journey of Chris and Kerry Cole and the obstacles they had to overcome as Christian media pioneers. “Gotta Die to Live is a powerful and impacting book written with transparent honesty and vulnerability,” says John Glass. “I have no doubt it will impact many lives. I cannot recommend this book more highly.
Melanie and Ofer Moscovich were part of a Messianic community in Israel before moving to Devon. Melanie has a degree in History and Religious Studies and her book on the feasts of the Bible provides helpful insights into the Jewish roots of our faith, which reveal the goodness of God.
David and Rosemary Harley were full-time missionaries in Africa, their story is remarkable in many ways, however the heart of their book is to inspire anyone and everyone to answer the call of God on their lives and see where it might lead them. It also highlights the continued need for the global Church to work together for the sake of the Gospel.
